Brand identity and various materials designed for Moving On — West Dorset; a social group network, working for the benefit of the community's wellbeing.
The logo draws inspiration from Colmer's Hill, a well known landmark in West Dorset that acts as a natural beacon for the surrounding landscape.
Following this thinking, the identity had to be modest, approachable and uplifting. We wanted people to feel as if they could just pop in for a cup of tea and a natter. Like a home away from home.
Being a small local charity, Moving On needed the accompanying materials to be cheap to reproduce and so everything was kept in black and white. That way, things like posters could be simply photocopied on to coloured paper and not rely on expensive printers.
